Description

A delightful twist on the classic Brazilian sweet, Brigadeiro, featuring the unique flavors of pistachios.

Ingredients

Scale

1 can of Condensed Milk

2 tablespoons of Unsalted Butter

1/4 cup of Pistachio Paste

1/4 cup of Ground Pistachios

A pinch of Sea Salt

  • 1 tablespoon of Cocoa Powder (optional)

Instructions

  1. Melt the unsalted butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat until fully melted (about 1-2 minutes).
  2. Add the condensed milk to the melted butter, stirring constantly to combine.
  3. Stir in the pistachio paste until the mixture is uniformly green and smooth.
  4. Cook the mixture on medium heat, stirring regularly, until it pulls away from the sides of the pan (about 7-10 minutes).
  5. Add a pinch of sea salt and ground pistachios, stirring for another minute.
  6. Transfer the mixture to a greased plate and let it cool at room temperature for about 30 minutes.
  7. Grease your hands lightly with butter and roll the mixture into bite-sized balls.
  8. Roll each ball in ground pistachios to coat.
  9. Serve in mini cupcake liners and enjoy!

Notes

Keep an eye on the cooking time to avoid overcooking the mixture, which can lead to a dry texture.
