1/4 cup honey
1 teaspoon cinnamon
8 sheets phyllo dough
1/2 cup butter, melted
Powdered sugar, for dusting
Instructions
- Prepare the Almond Mixture: Toast almonds, chop finely, and mix with honey and cinnamon.
- Set Up Your Workstation: Layer phyllo dough, brushing with butter between sheets.
- Fill the Phyllo: Spoon almond mixture on phyllo, fold sides, and roll into a cigar shape.
- Bake the Cigars: Place on a baking sheet, brush tops with butter, and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 15-20 minutes.
- Glaze with Honey: Immediately brush with honey after baking.
- Dust with Sugar: Sprinkle powdered sugar on top before serving.
