These creamy and flavorful deviled eggs are a standout dish at any gathering, offering a balance of tangy and savory flavors.

Ingredients

Scale

6 large fresh eggs

1/4 cup mayonnaise

1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

1 teaspoon white vinegar

Salt and pepper to taste

1/2 teaspoon paprika

2 tablespoons chopped green onions or chives

1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

2 tablespoons crispy bacon bits (optional)

Instructions

  1. Boil the Eggs: Place the eggs in a saucepan and cover with cold water. Bring to a boil, then remove from heat and let sit covered for 10 minutes.
  2. Cool and Peel: Transfer eggs to an ice bath for 5-10 minutes. Once cool, peel the shells carefully.
  3. Prepare the Filling: Halve the eggs lengthwise, scoop yolks into a bowl, mash them, and mix with mayonnaise, mustard, vinegar, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and bacon or green onions until smooth.
  4. Fill the Egg Whites: Use a piping bag or spoon to fill each egg white with yolk mixture.
  5. Garnish: Sprinkle paprika on top and garnish with chopped green onions or crumbled bacon if desired.

Notes

Store any leftover deviled eggs in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to two days. For the freshest taste, fill the egg whites just before serving.
