A delicious and healthier alternative to store-bought chocolate hazelnut spreads, made from simple ingredients.
Ingredients

1 cup Hazelnuts
1/3 cup Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
1/2 cup Powdered Sugar
1–2 tbsp Vegetable Oil (or melted coconut oil)
1 tsp Vanilla Extract
1/4 tsp Salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Spread the hazelnuts on a baking sheet and roast for about 10 minutes until golden brown.
- Once cooled, transfer the roasted hazelnuts to a food processor and process for 5-7 minutes until creamy.
- Add cocoa powder, powdered sugar, and salt. Blend until combined and smooth.
- While blending, gradually drizzle in the vegetable oil until desired consistency is achieved.
- Add vanilla extract and blend for another minute. Your chocolate nutella is ready!
Notes
Store in an airtight container. Can last up to a month in the fridge. For easier spreading, warm slightly in the microwave if refrigerated.
