1 cup Ricotta Cheese
1 cup Mozzarella Cheese
1 cup Pepperoni Slices
1/4 cup Hot Honey
2 tablespoons Olive Oil
Fresh Basil (for garnish)
Crushed Red Pepper Flakes (to taste)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C).
- On a lightly floured surface, roll out your pizza dough into your preferred thickness.
- In a bowl, combine ricotta cheese, a drizzle of olive oil, and a pinch of salt.
- Place your rolled-out dough on a pizza stone or baking sheet. Evenly spread the ricotta mixture over the base. Top with mozzarella cheese and pepperoni slices.
- Bake for 10-15 minutes until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.
- Once removed from the oven, drizzle with hot honey.
- Sprinkle with fresh basil and crushed red pepper flakes. Slice and serve warm.
Notes
For a healthier alternative, use whole wheat dough and low-fat ricotta. Pair with a refreshing salad.
