Ingredients

1 Pizza Dough (store-bought or homemade)

1 cup Ricotta Cheese

1 cup Mozzarella Cheese

1 cup Pepperoni Slices

1/4 cup Hot Honey

2 tablespoons Olive Oil

Fresh Basil (for garnish)

Crushed Red Pepper Flakes (to taste)


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C).
  2. On a lightly floured surface, roll out your pizza dough into your preferred thickness.
  3. In a bowl, combine ricotta cheese, a drizzle of olive oil, and a pinch of salt.
  4. Place your rolled-out dough on a pizza stone or baking sheet. Evenly spread the ricotta mixture over the base. Top with mozzarella cheese and pepperoni slices.
  5. Bake for 10-15 minutes until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.
  6. Once removed from the oven, drizzle with hot honey.
  7. Sprinkle with fresh basil and crushed red pepper flakes. Slice and serve warm.

Notes

For a healthier alternative, use whole wheat dough and low-fat ricotta. Pair with a refreshing salad.
