Description

A simple yet indulgent dessert that combines layers of flaky puff pastry with creamy vanilla pudding, perfect for special occasions.

Ingredients

Scale

2 sheets Puff Pastry

2 cups Vanilla Pudding

2 cups Milk

1 cup Powdered Sugar

½ cup Unsalted Butter

2 teaspoons Vanilla Extract

Fresh Berries (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry sheets on a lightly floured surface and cut into rectangles (approximately 3×5 inches).
  3. Place the rectangles on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, poke with a fork, and bake for about 15 minutes until golden brown.
  4. In a medium saucepan, combine milk and butter over medium heat; once butter melts, whisk in the vanilla pudding mix and let it thicken (2–3 minutes). Remove from heat and cool.
  5. Layer a rectangle of pastry on a serving plate, spread with pudding, and repeat until desired height is achieved.
  6. Top with a final pastry rectangle, dust with powdered sugar, and add fresh berries if desired.

Notes

Serve with whipped cream, chocolate drizzle, or ice cream for added richness. Store in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 2 months.
