Ingredients
Scale
- 1 sheet Puff Pastry
- 8 oz Brie Cheese
- 1 cup Cranberry Sauce
- 4 oz thinly sliced Pancetta
- 1 tablespoon Fresh Thyme, chopped
- 1 Egg (for egg wash)
- Salt and Pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (205°C).
- Roll out the puff pastry sheet on a lightly floured surface and transfer it to a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Gently score a ½-inch border around the edges of the puff pastry.
- Evenly spread the cranberry sauce within the scored border and reserve some for topping.
- Cut the brie cheese into small pieces and distribute them over the cranberry sauce.
- Sprinkle the diced pancetta and chopped thyme over the top.
- Whisk the egg and brush it over the puff pastry border.
- Bake for about 25 minutes, or until the pastry is golden and puffed.
- Allow to cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
Consider making homemade cranberry sauce for enhanced flavor. You can use phyllo dough for a lighter option or substitute bacon for the pancetta.
