Description

These festive breadsticks shaped like a Christmas tree are filled with a delicious spinach dip, making for a stunning and tasty centerpiece for your holiday gatherings.

Ingredients

  • Breadstick Dough
  • Fresh Spinach
  • Cream Cheese
  • Sour Cream
  • Garlic Powder
  • Cheddar Cheese
  • Parmesan Cheese
  • Herbs (Parsley, Basil, or Oregano)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Dough: Roll out your breadstick dough on a clean surface to an even thickness of about half an inch.
  2. Make the Spinach Dip: In a mixing bowl, combine spinach, cream cheese, sour cream, garlic powder, cheddar, and parmesan. Stir until well mixed.
  3. Shape the Breadsticks: Cut the rolled-out dough into equal strips and arrange them in a triangular shape.
  4. Fill the Breadsticks: Spoon the spinach dip along the center of each dough strip, fold the edges over the dip and twist.
  5. Bake: Transfer to a baking sheet and bake at 375°F (190°C) for 20 to 25 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Serve Warm: Allow to cool slightly and serve warm, best enjoyed fresh.

Notes

For a lighter option, consider using Neufchâtel cheese or Greek yogurt instead of cream cheese and sour cream. Make sure to drain excess moisture from spinach.
