Description

Delicious Chicken Philly Cheese Steaks made with lean chicken, fresh vegetables, and provolone cheese, perfect for a quick weeknight dinner.


Ingredients

1 lb Chicken Breast

1 cup Bell Peppers, sliced

1 medium Onion, sliced

4 slices Provolone Cheese

2 tablespoons Olive Oil

2 cloves Garlic, minced

Salt and Pepper, to taste

2 Hoagie Rolls


Instructions

  1. Slice the bell peppers and onion.
  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chicken, garlic, salt, and pepper. Cook for 5-7 minutes until browned and cooked through.
  3. Add the sliced onions and bell peppers to the skillet. Stir for 5-6 minutes until softened and caramelized.
  4. Reduce heat to low, place provolone cheese on top, and cover with a lid to melt.
  5. Cut hoagie rolls in half and lightly toast them.
  6. Serve the cheesy chicken and vegetable mix in the toasted hoagie rolls.

Notes

Consider using whole grain or gluten-free hoagie rolls for dietary preferences.
