- 1 cup Candied Cherries, chopped
- 1 cup Pecans or Walnuts, chopped

Instructions
- Gather your ingredients and ensure they are at room temperature.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a saucepan, combine sugar, corn syrup, and water; heat until it reaches 240°F.
- While heating, whip the egg whites until soft peaks form (4-5 minutes).
- Carefully pour the hot syrup into the egg whites while whisking continuously.
- Add vanilla extract, candied cherries, and chopped nuts; mix until combined.
- Spoon the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet and shape into squares.
- Allow to cool at room temperature for at least 2 hours before cutting into squares.
