Description

Indulgent truffles made with creamy white chocolate and fresh strawberries, perfect for any celebration.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz white chocolate, chopped
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and dried
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Prepare the strawberries: Wash and hull the strawberries, ensuring they are completely dry.
  2. Make the ganache: In a heatproof bowl, place chopped white chocolate. Heat the heavy cream in a saucepan until simmering and pour it over the chocolate. Let it sit, then stir until smooth.
  3. Incorporate the butter and flavorings: Add butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract to the ganache and stir until well combined.
  4. Chill the mixture: Cover the ganache with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 1-2 hours until firm.
  5. Form the truffles: Use a scoop to portion the ganache and roll into balls.
  6. Coat the truffles: Melt additional white chocolate and dip each truffle in it, then roll in toppings if desired.
  7. Chill again: Refrigerate for 30 minutes to harden the chocolate coating.

Notes

For a dairy-free version, use coconut cream and a dairy-free chocolate alternative.
