Ingredients

1 ½ cups All-Purpose Flour
½ cup Unsalted Butter, room temperature
½ cup Granulated Sugar
½ cup Brown Sugar
1 Egg
1 tsp Vanilla Extract
½ tsp Baking Soda
¼ tsp Salt
1 cup Chocolate Chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease a muffin tin with cooking spray or line with silicone muffin cups.
- In a mixing bowl, beat together unsalted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Mix in the egg and vanilla extract until well incorporated.
- In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add this to the wet mixture, mixing until fully incorporated.
- Gently fold in the chocolate chips.
- Spoon dough into each muffin cup, filling about 2/3 full.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until edges are golden and centers look slightly undercooked.
- Cool in the tin for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
For a gluten-free option, substitute All-Purpose Flour with almond flour or a gluten-free blend. Allow cookie cups to cool completely for the best texture.
