Description

Delicious and whimsical cookie cups, perfect for impressing your loved ones on Valentine’s Day.

Ingredients

Scale

1 ½ cups All-Purpose Flour

½ cup Unsalted Butter, room temperature

½ cup Granulated Sugar

½ cup Brown Sugar

1 Egg

1 tsp Vanilla Extract

½ tsp Baking Soda

¼ tsp Salt

1 cup Chocolate Chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a muffin tin with cooking spray or line with silicone muffin cups.
  3. In a mixing bowl, beat together unsalted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Mix in the egg and vanilla extract until well incorporated.
  5. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add this to the wet mixture, mixing until fully incorporated.
  6. Gently fold in the chocolate chips.
  7. Spoon dough into each muffin cup, filling about 2/3 full.
  8. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until edges are golden and centers look slightly undercooked.
  9. Cool in the tin for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

For a gluten-free option, substitute All-Purpose Flour with almond flour or a gluten-free blend. Allow cookie cups to cool completely for the best texture.
