Description

A delightful dessert salad with a perfect blend of sweet and salty flavors, creamy layers, and fresh strawberries, ideal for potluck gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale

2 cups pretzel snacks

1/2 cup unsalted butter

1/2 cup granulated sugar

8 oz cream cheese

1 cup powdered sugar

1 cup whipped topping

2 cups fresh strawberries

1 cup strawberry gelatin

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Crush the pretzels until fine crumbs. Combine with melted butter and granulated sugar; press into a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. Bake for 10 minutes until lightly golden, then cool completely.
  3. Beat cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth. Fold in whipped topping.
  4. Spread cream cheese mixture over cooled pretzel crust.
  5. Dissolve strawberry gelatin in boiling water, cool slightly, and mix in sliced strawberries. Pour over cream cheese layer.
  6. Cover and refrigerate for at least 3 hours to set.
  7. Cut into squares and serve chilled.

Notes

Best served chilled; consider adding other fruits for variety. Ensure pretzel crust cools completely to prevent sogginess.
