Description

Delightful heart-shaped chocolate chip cookies that convey love and are perfect for any celebration.

Ingredients

Scale

2 cups All-purpose flour

1 cup Unsalted butter, softened

3/4 cup Granulated sugar

3/4 cup Brown sugar, packed

2 large Eggs

2 teaspoons Vanilla extract

1 teaspoon Baking soda

1/2 teaspoon Salt

1 cup Chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition, and then stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually incorporate this into the wet ingredients.
  5. Gently fold in the chocolate chips.
  6. Use a heart-shaped cookie cutter to cut out cookies on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are lightly golden.
  8. Let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.

Notes

Avoid overmixing the dough to keep your cookies tender. Chill the dough if it gets too soft while shaping.
