Description

Delightful bite-sized gingerbread truffles combining cozy spices and chocolate, perfect for holiday gatherings.

Ingredients

  • Chocolate (Dark or Milk)
  • Gingerbread Spice Mix
  • Cream Cheese
  • Powdered Sugar
  • Vanilla Extract
  • Salt

Instructions

  1. Start by chopping your chocolate into small pieces and melt using a double boiler or microwave in short bursts.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, gingerbread spice mix, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt; mix until creamy.
  3. Pour melted chocolate into the mixture and stir until fully incorporated and smooth.
  4. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for one hour to firm up.
  5. Once chilled, form the mixture into 1-inch balls using a cookie scoop or your hands.
  6. Optionally roll the truffles in cocoa powder, crushed nuts, or gingerbread spice for garnish.
  7. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and refrigerate for an additional 30 minutes.

Notes

For a lighter option, try substituting cream cheese with Greek yogurt.
