Ingredients

2 cups fresh broccoli florets

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 cup breadcrumbs

1 egg

1 tsp garlic powder

Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Prepare the broccoli by washing and chopping it into small florets.
  2. Blanch the broccoli in boiling water for 2-3 minutes, then drain and plunge into an ice bath.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the chopped broccoli, cheddar cheese, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Form the mixture into bite-sized balls or patties.
  5. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 5 minutes.
  6. Place poppers in the air fryer basket in a single layer and cook for 10-12 minutes until golden and crispy, flipping halfway through.
  7. Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.
