1 cup diced fresh strawberries
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt until well combined.
- Cream the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy, about 3-4 minutes.
- Add the egg and vanilla extract to the creamed mixture, mixing until fully incorporated.
- Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.
- Gently fold in the diced strawberries and chocolate chips.
- Use a cookie scoop or tablespoon to drop dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the edges are set but the centers are still soft.
- Cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Optional: Melt chocolate chips and drizzle over cooled cookies.
