  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup oats
  • 1/4 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Core the apples, creating a cavity for the cheesecake mixture.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, granulated sugar, cinnamon, and vanilla extract. Beat until smooth.
  4. Stir in oats and chopped nuts (if using). Mix until evenly distributed.
  5. Fill each apple with the cheesecake mixture using a spoon.
  6. Sprinkle brown sugar on top of each stuffed apple. Place them in a baking dish with a splash of water.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the apples are tender but still hold their shape.
