- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/3 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup oats
- 1/4 cup chopped nuts (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Core the apples, creating a cavity for the cheesecake mixture.
- In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, granulated sugar, cinnamon, and vanilla extract. Beat until smooth.
- Stir in oats and chopped nuts (if using). Mix until evenly distributed.
- Fill each apple with the cheesecake mixture using a spoon.
- Sprinkle brown sugar on top of each stuffed apple. Place them in a baking dish with a splash of water.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the apples are tender but still hold their shape.
- Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving.
